Introducing LED with UVB/UVA - save energy and provide your reptiles with much-needed daylight
A natural habitat with plenty of sunlight is essential for the health of reptiles. So we must be careful with how we provide the same in captivity. There are many different options out there. But the proper UVB lighting can also be expensive when, for example, high-wattage mercury vapor bulbs are used. They lose their efficiency over time and solely last up to a year. With that in mind, trying the latest lighting technology makes sense.
Save time and energy
With LORA LED UVB/UVA/ Grow light, you can instantly reduce your electricity bill and the annoying and expensive need to replace your UVB light source annually. As a fact, with merely 3W, it shines as efficiently as a 25W UVB 5.0 spiral bulb—significantly reducing power consumption. An LED spotlight with long-range durability and low energy consumption, like the LORA Full spectrum LED UVB/UVA/Grow light, is a wise choice. Artificial lighting, with a lifespan nearly 12 times that of traditional UVB, around 25000 hours, is indeed the closest thing to natural sunlight!
LED and how it works
LED lights have separate emitting diodes for UVB, UVA, daylight, and sunshine-white-yellow light. Together, they provide full visible spectrum illumination. The lower spectrum (UVB 2.0-5.0) is ideal for reptiles living in subtropical areas, while the higher range (UVB 10.0 - 12.0) is ideal for desert reptiles. The LORA does not generate heat, so you can mount it inside the tank without causing any harm to the animals inside.
