Pro tips

For best results, measure the basking temperature and maintain a suitable temperature gradient throughout the enclosure. Position SOLA at the correct distance to provide appropriate heat and UV exposure for the species.

Because UVB intensity changes with distance, positioning, and installation, check UV exposure with a suitable UV meter. Depending on the species and enclosure, you may still need an additional UVB source.

Use a compatible dimming thermostat to regulate heat output and a timer to maintain a consistent day–night cycle.
